Request for Letter of Intent (LOI) – YTEL FTTH Project – CPUC Section 1 & 2

Yurok Telecommunications Corporation (“YTEL”) invites your firm to submit a Letter of Intent to Bid in response to the attached Request for Proposals (RFP) for the YTEL Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) Project, supporting broadband deployment projects within the State of California.
This RFP is intended to establish one or more qualified contractors for the design, construction, and deployment of FTTH infrastructure under projects funded or regulated by the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) and related programs.
Purpose of the Letter of Intent
Submission of a Letter of Intent confirms your firm’s interest in participating in this procurement and is a mandatory prerequisite to receiving access to confidential project materials, including construction routes and design information. Firms that do not submit a timely Intent to Bid will be disqualified from submitting a proposal.

Instructions for Submitting the Letter of Intent
Interested vendors must submit a brief email stating their Intent to Bid that includes the following:
  • Legal name of the firm
  • Primary point of contact (name, title, email, and phone number)
  • Confirmation of interest in submitting a proposal in response to this RFP

In addition, all vendors submitting an Intent to Bid must execute and return the Mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) included with the RFP. Access to confidential materials will not be provided until the NDA has been accepted by YTEL.

  • Submission of a Letter of Intent does not obligate YTEL to award a contract, nor does it obligate the vendor to submit a proposal.
  • YTEL reserves the right to amend, delay, or cancel this procurement at any time in accordance with the RFP terms.
  • All proposals must comply with the qualifications, requirements, and conditions outlined in the attached RFP.
