LOI – RFP00-017 Tower Site Commissioning
Yurok Telecommunications (YTEL) is pleased to announce its intent to issue RFP00-017 for the Tower Site Commissioning Project. This project supports YTEL’s broadband infrastructure expansion under the NTIA TBCP grant and involves commissioning telecommunication towers across multiple sites in Humboldt and Del Norte counties on the Yurok Reservation.
Project Overview:
The scope of work includes shelter installation, generator and fuel system setup, grounding connections, fencing and gate installation, electrical work, and full site commissioning in compliance with NEC and FAA standards.

The formal RFP package will be distributed to invited vendors on February 6th, 2026. Access to the RFP will require execution of a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) prior to release of the documents.
By responding to this Letter of Intent, your organization confirms its interest in participating in this procurement process and acknowledges the requirement to execute an NDA in order to receive the RFP. Responding vendors should include company name, primary contact information, and any preliminary questions.
