Transition to a New Billing System – Effective January 1, 2026
Beginning January 1, 2026, Yurok Telecommunications Corporation (YTEL) will fully take over billing for all Yurok Connect internet services. This means your internet charges will no longer appear on the Yurok Tribe’s utility bills.
We are migrating to a modern billing platform called Fibersmith, which will improve accuracy, automation, and overall customer experience. As part of this transition, your invoice format and billing notifications may look different from what you are used to.
Payment Method Changes
With the new system:
-
Payments may be made by check, credit card, or debit card through our new online payment portal.
The portal link will be available at: www.yuroktelecom.com -
We are no longer able to accept cash payments or payroll deduction for Yurok Tribal staff.
-
Cash payment options will return once our planned Customer Service Center is established in 2026.

Equipment Upgrades Beginning Late January 2026
